Everyone else in this office is great but Felicia on the other hand is very unprofessional, she is very rude, I will never do business with security finance again, for someone who is a "Manager" she should be demoted and I will keep going higher and higher until something is done! when someone has covid you don't call and threaten their family after they have already told you the customer is in the hospital and you treat them as if they are lying! I hope you never end up with this sickness especially with two small children you haven't seen in 18 days!!!

    Response from the owner

I have been doing business with Security Finance for the past 10 to 12 years. I have gotten a loan paid them off. This last loan I got from them I had a very bad financial problem and went to them and explained it and they really helped me a lot. They understood every day people have things to happen out of their control and they work with you threw the situation. Thank you They are Security in more than one way.

I got a loan here strictly to boost my credit. I am satisfied atm. Little did I know that if you take the first offer to refinance, anytime after that makes it virtually impossible to pay off your account. I just learned that if I make the last payment on my loan, my credit score will actually go down by 30 points. To PAY OFF my account which is in good standing. Essentially by paying it off they just close it out as if you told them to f off. I asked how do I pay it off they said you don't. Never again. That is not right. That's a damn trap. I have been nothing but on time for these people.

To be clear, this is the first negative review I have ever written. I have had many loans with Security Finance since around 2013 (I believe) which I have never made a late payment on EVER. I got a loan yesterday due to unforeseen circumstance in the guise of a massive vet bill. I have gotten a few loans this year alone, that I have paid off as soon as I got them (when I first called this morning they said it had been 3, then when they called me back once she got the “go ahead” from her supervisor to pay them off without any interest as my promissory note states I am able to do, the number was changed to 4- though I, myself, am unsure the exact number of loans I have gotten in 2019.... it’s been a rough one.) In the promissory note, it states that “I can make a whole payment early. If I pay the Amount Financed within 5 days of the date of this Note, you will cancel all Finance Charges” etc. nowhere in the paperwork I have ever gotten in all my years doing business with Security Finance does it state that the number of times that statement is applicable is limited to “1, 5 day payoff within a 6 month period,” though that does make sense. When I spoke with Lisa (or Felicia? unsure) this morning she rudely told me that she “has no idea how I have “gotten away” with paying this way for so long because that is not policy.” As if I am some sort of criminal for paying my loans off early before I owe more? I understand this is a business, however, I expected more professionalism. A month or so ago, when I got my last loan, I went into the store to pay it off and was mortified by Shaina saying (very loudly with other customers in the store) when I told her I wanted to pay the full balance instead of making a single payment, “Why are you doing this to me!!” Which indicated to me that they make money from the payments (which makes sense, though I have never worked at a place such as this- how I was supposed to know that I was breaking some sort of unspoken code, is beyond me.) After Lisa speaking to her supervisor, the matter was resolved with her telling me I “could pay the balance with no interest but they would NEVER BE DOING BUSINESS WITH ME EVER AGAIN.” Which is fine by me because I’d rather pull money from my savings account for any future emergency before I ever give them any more of mine or my family’s business.... I wish I had been informed of the (more than understandable) stipulations because again, this is a business and I get it... I’m a considerate person, I would never try to take advantage of any person or institution and would have been fine with paying the allotted interest, had I know and been prepared for that but instead I’m left feeling like a degenerate when I have done nothing wrong.

If i could give 0 stars i would! Got a loan paid as much as i could till i got put off work due to a complicated pregnancy. They dont care if your on seven different medications and if you've told them everytime they call that you have no money to give them. They harass me every single day, They now also call private at like 8 o'clock at night, They admitted they call all of my contacts multiple times a day even though they do speak to me when i am able to answer the phone and not down due to being high risk. I wouldnt recommend a fly to this place if you know for a fact you may not be able to finish paying your loan i wouldnt even try there.
