My husband and I had such a great experience refinancing through Gateway. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and made our transaction very smooth.

We recently used Gateway for refinancing. The team was professional and timely. The process was absolutely seamless. We will use GMC again, and happy to recommend this family business to others.

All I can say is be careful. We opened a loan with gateway at the recommendation of our realtor. This year we had an opportunity for a vastly lower rate through another mortgage company. Gateway did reach out to try to retain our business, but once they felt they were going to lose our loan, my wife got a call from someone at Gateway threatening to send us to collections for the payoff amount if they didn't receive payment... the problem is, we hadn't even signed an agreement with another lender, so we were still a customer! There was no payoff to send! Then, when my wife asked if they'd give us a quick courtesy call once they received the payoff so we could make sure they had their money, she was told, "Absolutely not. You can call us." In short, petty, spiteful, and vindictive.

The people at Gateway were great to work with. They were knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole home buying process. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted and well respected lender.

The team at Gateway have been wonderful to deal with. They are no-nonsense, professional and go out of their way to make the experience both efficient and easy. Buying a house is stressful enough but to make the process simple while also educating me (the buyer) on the process, what to be aware of, etc. gave my family great peace of mind both during and after the process. This long-standing, family business has been great to deal with and makes one of life's more stressful choices simple and with minimal stress.

They went out of their way to help us close efficiently from out of state; were available any time of day to answer questions; and were very supportive every step of the way.
