Excellent & fast service, Got a loan was asked to show government ID and SS card... people commenting about unathorized accounts need to secure their identities, all that is needed to open a credit card or a loan online is name, ssn and date of birth. So take care of your ids.

This is towards the 2 employee's at Excel Finance in Laredo. I am disappointed & upset with the poor customer service I received. I've talked to many managers before in my life & Clara Garza is by far the most unprofessional manager. When I 1st went into the Excel Finance office in person to get information on the account that was opened under my name, Maria E. Guerrero explained that she was the one who opened the account. One of the reasons Ms Guerrero said she didn't ask for ID was because I was a good customer in the past & always made my payments on time. Soo basically she's saying that since I'm a good customer that's why she screwed me over? All the information on my account was outdated & my ID was expired. This is a 2014 account we're talking about. Through the whole time I was there Ms Garza, the manager, never got up from her desk to approach me & show empathy. Her desk was on the other side of the room. She heard everything & knew why I was there. She was just talking to Ms. Guerrero from across the room & answering a few questions I had. Soo basically raising her voice a little so we could talk from across the room. The only time she got up from her desk was to get my statement from Ms. Guerrero & make a copy. My older brother was present the whole time that day. This is a very serious situation & I didn't feel like I got any empathy from Ms. Garza at all. The officer present even said this is considered a 3rd degree felony. Ms Garza was very defensive almost the whole time. Even when I was asking basic general questions like: "What is your policies on the amount of cash you can give customers?" She kept saying anything you need to know or any other questions you have, you need to contact corporate. I was calm the whole time. I wanted all my questions answered. She got upset with the officer because the officer was asking her more questions & Ms Garza raised her voice & said I have a lot of work to get done & started grabbing all the papers on the desk, even mine & the police copies. That's when the police said those are our copies & Ms. Garza gave them back. I caught Ms. Garza rolling her eyes a few times when I was asking questions. The most rude part was when she kept talking over me & the officer. Almost the whole time. I could never finish. I even told her "May I finish what I was saying?". Ms Garzas whole mood & tone changed when she realized the state auditor was standing behind one of the desks close to us. I just don't understand how it could be soo easy for someone to re-open an old account & get that much money without verifying ID, workplace, calling my phone number that I've had since 2012, & I haven't lived in Laredo for years. I was in Laredo on Thanksgiving vacation. I was suppose to leave back home but instead I had to stay there to deal with this mess. I could've worked the days I had to spend in Laredo. It shouldn't be that easy. As a customer I trust the companies that I give my personal information to & I trust that they will protect it.
