Discount Car Title Loan - Corpus Christi: Weber Plaza

The worst. I went in on a Saturday. The woman assisting me (Alexis) asked me for a current bill under my name. I gave it to her, and she starts going though it. So I tell her "ma'am, the name&address are right there. You don't have to go through my bill." She rolls her eyes and continues with the process. Before getting a check my husband and I asked her if there was anyway we could just get the money deposited using our card she said yes but she didn't know if the funds would be available instantly so we just decided to get the check. We tried depositing the check twice in an ATM and the check wouldn't go through, we tried cashing it in Walmart twice and it wouldn't go through, we tried depositing using the mobile app 14 to 15 times and it didn't go through. We went back to this location but it was already closed. We stayed parked out there for a few minutes. This lady happened to be coming out of this location. So my husband got down and asked her if she knew why the check wasn't going through. To where she said she didn't know but gave us 2 locations to where we could go cash it. Unfortunately since I had signed and written the check I can no longer cash it any where. So now I had to wait to go back to this location because they're closed Sunday and Monday was labor day holiday. Today is Tue I called and again spoke to this lady and she transferred me to the manager (Monica) the manager told me to wait for her to get in contact with corporate. All this was a little afternoon. I went to my bank to try and cash it or deposit it. The lady at the bank said I could deposit it but wouldn't get the full amount. That I would get some today and some in a week. So I got the check back and went home. Still waiting for a call back from this location. Around 4 I called again just to follow up. They left me again on hold for a long time so I decided to drive over there. Mind you the location was empty but I was on the phone on hold. So Monica stated that she couldn't help me with the check because I needed some kind of written form stating that the check wasn't deposited. Something she could of told me via phone!. I called my bank on front of her where they mentioned the check wasn't deposited and they couldn't send me that kind of information and I had to go to a branch location. She heard everything and still couldn't assist me. She gave me the number to corporate but when I called it was 5:03 and the person she told me to speak to (Olga) wasn't there anymore. So now I have to wait another day for someone either from the bank or them to assist me. I asked the lady that answered the corporate phone whether I could just cancel the loan since it's been a few days and she couldn't give me an answer. Moral of the story this place is a mess.
