Response from the ownerJosh, thank you for the review. We pride ourselves on helping people who aren't able to obtain financing through a traditional lender such as a bank or credit union. Certainly the risk is greater with this type of loan, but with the customers' positive payment history, they can build their credit to the point where they can eventually get financing through a traditional lender. Unfortunately, sometimes customers don't make their payments on time which will indeed have a negative impact on their credit (which is the case with any lender who reports to credit reporting agencies). This was explained to you as a co-signer. We believe people should be able to determine if financing is right for them and give them all of the details of the loan so they can make an informed decision. As a finance company who cares about it's customers, we don't force or encourage anyone to sign loan documents.
